Things To Do In Whistler This Summer

Whistler is a little town, with an incredible mountain with a lot of things to do over the summer.

Whistler is located just 2 hours drive from the beautiful city of Vancouver.

I really fell in love with this village, especially over the summer in whistler.

The views from up the mountain are spectacular.

Summer in Whistler is a great place to spend an incredible vacation full of outdoor activities.

Where to stay?

There are a couple of hotels I recommend:

On Whistler Village

Westin Hotel, Hilton Hotel and Pan Pacific Hotel.

This 3 hotels are beautiful located just steps away from the Whistler gondola.

The rooms are very clean, and comfortable. It has suites with a kitchenette.

Perfect stay, in either of the 3 and the prices are not very high.

Of course over the winter I recommend to book in advance to get a better rate.

On Blackcomb Village

There are 2: Four seasons resort and Fairmont Resort.

These hotels are much better category than the ones in Whistler village, and of course Harga Daihatsu Makassar cheaper, but the service and place especially the four seasons I had the opportunity to stay last summer for a few days, My family and i love the place.

Summer in Whistler has a ton of activities to offer and the good thing is that they are for all ages.

Take the gondola up and take a trail to hike and see the amazing views and then take the peak to peak to the other mountain.

You could also rent bikes from either store in the village to take a ride over the amazing trails Whistler has to offer.

Or if you like a more thrilling adventure try the bike park, ride the lifts up and come down hill on the many mountain trails.

There are 3 different lakes that I really recommend going, all three have a park where you can rest, take a swim, and have a little snack.

The first, and closest one is Lost lake.

Then you can head to Alta lake, and then Green Lake, this last one is the farthest but it is my favorite.

With the mountains full of trees, you can smell the thin air, and just be around the nature.

Another thrilling activity is the Zipline (Zipterek ecotours) is a must.

There are a couple of lines, that can adapt your needs.

The best one is the Sasquatch, with a 2 km distance with exhilarating views. If you have kids 6 years and older there is a Line that you can go.

A walk in the village is a must, there are specialty stores, cafes, restaurants.

We had a tea at David´s Tea, they have a variety of teas, and you can choose from cold tea, frapp, or the classic hot tea.

If you are traveling with kids, on the base of Blackcomb Mountain, there’s the family adventure zone.

Kids can go on the trampoline, or the West coaster slider and so much more to keep the little ones busy.
